Dang! You've eaten at a lot of great places. And I love the fact that you ate at El Tonayense Taco Truck and "would go back." We're just TOO much alike! Except I don't care for Mijita -- overpriced over nothing. SO many blogger raved about this place to me that I finally went. I'll take Nick's Crispy Tacos (carnitas taco "Nick's Way" rocks...)

AND, you've never been to Bobo's for steak? Oh my goodness... I will take you there ASAP. Best steak in the Bay Area. Been to Peter Luger's in Brooklyn? Better. The bone-in filet... to DIE for. We're going. Don't eat that day, though ;-)

PS -- Bill and I made egg BLTs tonight for dinner. In the words of that other Sicilian girl... "YUMMO!"

I like your blog - detailed, honest & accessible to all. In fact, we would like you to have a look at our site (yelp.com) and see if its something you'd be interested in contributing to. I'd imagine you might also find it useful. Have you heard of us?

In any case, if you're not into it, we'd love to be listed on your page and put you up on our blog, a blog exchange of sorts. Please let me know if you're interested.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Enjoy,
Ligaya@yelp.com

Thanks for the offer. I am familiar with Yelp.com but between my day job (which often bleeds into nights and weekends), this blog, and freelance writing, I'm afraid I'm stretched a bit thin to do anything more. I hope you will still visit this site periodically and if Yelp.com wants to post a link, I would be flattered. Let me know!

love the new list - often wondered if I should list *every* restaurant i have eaten at for the past 6 years I have lived here but fear my mother would reprimand me for wasting so much of my money.

I see a Coco 500 missing from your list.

Hey Sam! Coco500 is on the list, although not among the italicized list. For reference, each list also contains links to every listed restaurant and/or to my posts about the restaurants to the extent I have gotten around to completing one. I do know what you mean about the amount of money involved! Thank goodness for credit cards for perpetuating my leveraged existence...

Fellow lawyer here on the Peninsula who is very impressed with your palate (but actually likes her job). You've got great taste in food (agree on the uninspired Nobu). Del Posto won't disappoint, nor will the pasta tasting at Babbo. Try Annisa next time you're out there too. Man, I miss living in NY -- bay area food just isn't the same.
